this town is boring as balls yo

it's like a bunch of upper-middle-class white people played simcity and made themselves a sweet city and then actually went out and built it

it's got all the ostensible things you want in a city but entirely artificially motivated. there's nothing organic except for like six blocks of chinatown, and one of those is infested with hipsters. if cities are beers portland is non-alcoholic.

this is all on the west side though, i'm gonna check out the east tomorrow
